We are proud to congratulate Omer Kural, Omer Gorgun, and Alijon Dilovar for achieving a remarkable entrepreneurial milestone by launching Penthia, their own smart board technology company focused on innovative educational solutions.
In less than eight months, these students transformed an idea into a real business by forming their company, developing the Penthia brand, and partnering with a manufacturer in China to produce smart boards under their own name. The manufacturer has already completed the product branding and is nearing final production—an extraordinary accomplishment for high school students.
This project represents one of the first major student-led businesses launched through The Lighthouse Schools’ Entrepreneurship Program, demonstrating that students can gain real-world experience in international business, branding, manufacturing, negotiation, and product development while still in school.
We are incredibly proud of their vision, leadership, professionalism, and determination to create something meaningful. Their success embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on learning culture that Lighthouse Schools is committed to fostering.

We are proud of our students Okan, Cemal, Talha, Omer Kural, and Mahir for successfully completing a summer internship at The Ohio State University’s Intracellular Dynamics Laboratory. Throughout the week-long workshop, they worked in an authentic research environment, culturing and imaging cancer cells, exploring fluorescence and electron microscopy, and applying physics concepts to real-world biological research. The experience gave them valuable hands-on exposure to scientific inquiry and advanced laboratory techniques while developing the mindset of researchers. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Comert Kural, Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, and father of our student Omer Kural, for generously arranging this exceptional opportunity for our students. May Allah reward him for investing in the education and future of our young scholars.
